David’s real estate career began in 2003 as a sales representative for a national, boutique lender, prior to transitioning into sales for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. In 2006, David’s interests in commercial real estate prompted him to serve as a member of the Investment Real Estate Sales team with Marcus & Millichap in Oakland, California, where his work acumen propelled him to #1 Agent status. David followed that success by becoming the Director of Multifamily Sales for Transwestern’s Northern California region. In that time, David also formed a boutique property management company focused on improving operations for a select group of clients, that operated successfully for several years.
David grew up in Montana and earned his bachelor’s degree in Public Relations & Advertising at Northern Arizona University, where he graduated with honors. As an avid outrigger canoe paddler, he has competed throughout California, Hawaii, and worldwide. His diverse background in business and hobbies demonstrate David to be a focused, goal-oriented individual with a strong teamwork ethic.

David specializes in the disposition and acquisition of multifamily properties throughout the Bay Area with an emphasis on the East Bay; working with various client types across multiple counties from Alameda to Santa Cruz and beyond. He provides analysis and advisory services to apartment owners/investors through targeted marketing, negotiations, and underwriting. David’s consulting services include accurate valuations for sales, repositioning, and suggestions to optimize operations for current market conditions. He markets multifamily opportunities to maximize value and exceed his clients’ objectives. David’s results-driven attitude continues to keep him one of the top multifamily agents in the Bay Area.
